Aimee Bock is the founder and former executive director of the nonprofit Feeding Our Future, which served as a sponsor for federal child nutrition programs in Minnesota. In March 2025, a federal jury convicted Bock on all counts, including wire fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud, and bribery, for her role in a $240 million to $250 million fraud scheme.
Prosecutors established that Bock and her co-conspirators created dozens of shell companies to submit fraudulent meal claims, which involved falsifying attendance rosters and invoices. The scheme, which grew from approximately $3.4 million in annual federal funding in 2019 to nearly $200 million in 2021, diverted funds meant for needy children toward luxury vehicles, real estate, and international travel.
Bock personally received approximately $1.9 million through the scheme, including a $310,000 payment for the sale of a daycare business that prosecutors alleged was a kickback for site sponsorship. In July 2026, U.S. District Judge Nancy Brasel sentenced Bock to 500 months (41 years and 8 months) in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, and ordered her to pay over $240 million in restitution. The judge rejected Bock's arguments that she was a victim of a "vortex" or state oversight failures, noting that Bock repeatedly perjured herself during the trial and actively orchestrated the fraud.
