Moshe Kahlon

Moshe Kahlon, former Israeli Finance Minister, was recently convicted for his role as chairman of the non-banking credit company UnetCredit. Following a plea bargain, Kahlon was convicted of securities-reporting offenses for failing to disclose material information regarding financial irregularities at the company's Nazareth branch, which involved millions of shekels in missing funds. As part of the agreement, he received a suspended prison sentence, a NIS 180,000 fine, and an 18-month ban from serving as an officer in a public company. The conviction does not involve a finding of moral turpitude.
