Patrick Analo Akivaga is the suspended Nairobi County Chief Officer for Urban Development and Planning. He is currently under investigation for multiple corruption and criminal offenses. In June 2026, the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) arrested Analo after recovering KSh 65.3 million in cash (KSh 51.3 million and USD 113,000) from his residence and vehicle. Investigators are probing him for conflict of interest, bribery, abuse of office, and unexplained wealth, alleging he received over KSh 170 million in suspicious deposits between 2019 and 2026. Separately, the Director of Public Prosecutions approved charges of abuse of office and neglect of official duty against Analo regarding the January 2026 collapse of Manzil Towers in South C, which killed two people. Additionally, a February 2026 report by the Commission on Administrative Justice accused him of facilitating unlawful development approvals, including the Khaleej Towers project, and recommended his criminal prosecution. Following his arrest, Governor Johnson Sakaja suspended him from office.
