In 2002, while running his business Hydrotech Mechanical Services, Scott Perry faced state criminal charges for falsifying pollution discharge monitoring reports at a sewage plant. He entered Pennsylvania’s Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program, paid a $5,000 fine, and the charges were subsequently dismissed.
Regarding the 2020 presidential election, Perry faced a federal investigation for his role in attempts to overturn the results. The Department of Justice seized his cell phone in 2022 as part of this probe. He was not charged with a crime in this matter.
