Kim Keon Hee, former first lady of South Korea (2022–2025), is currently serving a prison sentence following multiple criminal convictions. Arrested on August 12, 2025, she was the first presidential spouse in South Korean history to be indicted and detained. Legal status and convictions include: Stock manipulation: Initially acquitted, the Seoul High Court overturned this on April 28, 2026, finding her guilty of conspiring in a scheme involving Deutsch Motors between 2010 and 2012. She was sentenced to four years in prison, fined 50 million won, and ordered to forfeit approximately 20 million won.
