South Korea's Park Geun-hye convicted, later pardoned

Former South Korean President Park Geun-hye was impeached in 2017 and convicted of abuse of power and bribery; sentenced to a total of 22 years across her trials. President Moon Jae-in pardoned her in December 2021 on health grounds.
